A most perfect October wedding at Brooklake

October’s dependable weather makes it popular month for weddings. There’s low risk of humidity, intense heat, rain, or snow. Here in New Jersey you can expect mild temperatures with warmer days averaging in the 60s and 70s and nights dipping into the 40s and 50s.

Beautiful weddings come in all shapes, colors and sizes, but there’s something magical about a Fall wedding at Brooklake. The lush green landscape explodes into beautiful hues of gold, red, and orange. The gorgeous and vibrant colors of the fall make for the most stunning photography backdrops! After hours of snapping photos outside and cutting loose on our oversized dance floor, you’ll be thankful for the cool breeze of an autumn day.

Autumn also ushers in plenty of black tie affairs with darker color palettes and jewel tones. Many of our Fall wedding couples opt for warm color palettes of golden brown and copper, natural green, deep burgundy, and lush red. We see unique Fall bouquets of dark poppies and elegant dahlias, which come in all the autumnal tones (red, burgundy, orange, and plum). We also see non-floral accents such as fiddlehead ferns, lamb’s ear leaves. Floral arrangements mix in vines, berries, and twigs, mirror the breathtaking Brooklake landscape. And there’s all the scrumptious favors of the season! How about a Pie bar and warm libations?

Rebecca and Mathew’s October wedding had the best of everything. Here’s what Rebecca had to say about their ‘most perfect wedding’:

When my fiancé and I first entered Brooklake, we knew it was exactly the venue we imagined for our wedding, and were overjoyed they had an October 2022 date available for us. While we had no doubt our wedding would be amazing (gorgeous views, delicious food, friendly and professional staff), the Brooklake team truly exceeded our expectations. I cannot say enough good things about the day (and our guests can’t stop talking about it either), but I want to specially thank their Catering Director Peter, Maitre D Natalia, and my Bridal Attendant Michelle for making the day especially wonderful and stress-free. Thank you to the Brooklake team for our most perfect wedding.
