Brooklake is a perfect waterfront venue for traditional Indian weddings.
Brooklake features the most beautiful Northern NJ outdoor setting, designed to accommodate small to large baraats. Our private venue provides the opportunity to celebrate your grand entrance by horseback. In addition we have spacious areas, both indoors and outdoors, that accommodate even the most elaborate Mandaps. With comfortable Preparation Suites and areas for pre – wedding ceremonies, such as the Mendhi or Sangeet, Brooklake is the perfect location to celebrate your most memorable Indian wedding.
Outside caterers are welcomed to work alongside our experienced culinary team to prepare a reception that unites cultures. Additionally, if you prefer, you can have your entire reception catered. Please contact one of our managers for additional information.
Cultural elements make Indian weddings special
With upward of 30 distinct cultures within the continent, no two Indian weddings will be exactly the same. One of the reasons we love weddings so much is that they’re typically full of rituals. We know cultural elements are often what makes Indian weddings so special and meaningful. That’s because customs are passed down through history, connecting couples to their ancestors. Tradition is incorporated into a whole range of wedding details.
Brooklake is home to a beautifully customizable venue space perfectly designed for your Indian Wedding. Enjoy the luxurious dressing and preparation suites, seamless-yet-memorable accommodations for your Barat Ceremony, and separate rooms for the Mandap Ceremony.
Choose the right photographer for your Indian wedding
One thing that all Indian weddings have in common is that they are visually stunning. We recommend hiring a wedding photographer who has photographed other Indian weddings. It helps for them to understand the usual sequence of events as well as the symbolism of the wedding elements. We think these photos by Ron Soliman are magnificent. Congratulations to Ayushi and Brian. As Brian put it, “They say when two cultures come together for a wedding, great things and magical moments happen. That’s exactly what happened to this gorgeous couple.” See more of Brian’s photos here.
Best Decision We Ever Made!
I don’t have enough words for what Brooklake Country Club is. Peter, Adriana, Maury, Carol, and the entire staff is hands down the best I have ever encountered. My husband and I got married there this past weekend for our big fat Indian wedding, and Peter took care of everything from day one. He knew more about Indian weddings than we did! He is so kind, so attentive, and so loving! Peter makes you feel like family and genuinely cares about making your wedding perfect.
We had an amazing martini bar and Viennese dessert that people are still calling us about! Peter and Maury took care of everything to make sure it all ran smoothly. Carol always emailed be back immediately answering any questions.
My bridal attendant, Adriana was just the MVP of my wedding, making sure I always had a drink in hand, refreshing my lip gloss, putting hot towels on my hands and feet when I got cold. She anticipated my needs before I even verbalized them.
Maury, our Maitre D, really knew his stuff! He had everything running so efficiently and always had a smile on his face. Everyone calmed us down any time an issue came up and told us it was handled.
The entire staff goes above and beyond for everyone at your wedding. Adriana made me plates several times and tried so hard to get me to eat anything, even carrying my appetizer plate as I mingled so I could just turn and take a bite! She went as far as packing so many trays of food and desserts because she knew I did not get to eat anything!
Thank you to everyone at Brooklake for making our day perfect. We will never EVER forget any of you!”
